You started this to feel free- not burnt out.
You've been navigating marketing, money, legal, and clients - often alone without any training or education on how to run a business.

You might be struggling to fill your caseload. Or set rates that feel sustainable. Or just survive the emotional weight of holding space for others all day while managing a business.
But what if you had 5 other people with resources, ideas, and support for you?
A dedicated space to work through your challenges using a structured "spotlight" format where you get a full session focused entirely on your specific struggle.
HOW IT WORKS
Small Group, Big Support
Only 5 therapists per cohort. This isn't a webinar or a large group where you get lost in the crowd. It's an intimate container where everyone gets seen, heard, and supported.
The "Spotlight" Format
Each week, one therapist takes the "spotlight" - bringing their specific challenge to the group for focused attention, brainstorming, and problem-solving.
Structured & Personalized
We follow a clear format that keeps things productive, but there's room for what actually needs to be addressed. No fluff, no generic advice - just real support for real challenges.

From Surviving Private Practice to Thriving In It
Right now, your practice might feel like something you're just trying to survive. But in seven weeks, you could be running a practice that actually sustains you - one where you feel confident in your rates, clear in your boundaries, and connected to colleagues who genuinely have your back. This group won't solve everything, but it will give you the clarity, support, and momentum to move from stuck to growing. You don't have to keep figuring this out alone.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What if I can't make one of the sessions?
Consistent attendance is important for group cohesion, but life happens. If you need to miss one session, let the group know in advance. Your spotlight session can be rescheduled if needed.

What kinds of challenges can I bring to my spotlight?
Anything related to running your private practice: marketing and visibility, setting and raising rates, dealing with difficult clients, maintaining boundaries, managing the business side, avoiding burnout, work-life balance, imposter syndrome, or anything else that's keeping you stuck.

Do I need to prepare anything?
For your spotlight week, come with your specific challenge and what you're hoping to work through. Otherwise, just show up ready to support your peers and be honest about your own experience.

What if I'm brand new to private practice?
Perfect! This group is for therapists at all stages - whether you're just starting out or have been in practice for years. The diversity of experience actually makes for richer conversations.

How is this different from supervision or consultation?
This is peer support, not supervision. We're colleagues helping each other navigate the business and emotional challenges of private practice. It's less formal than supervision and more focused on mutual support and problem-solving.

Will I have to share things I'm uncomfortable with?
You're always in control of what you share. We create a confidential, supportive space, but you never have to go deeper than feels right for you.

What happens after the 7 weeks?
Your cohort may choose to stay connected through check-in calls, group chats, or informal meetups. The 7 weeks create the container, but the relationships can continue. I'm also always available for a one-on-one consultation.

about me...
Hi, I'm Deniss Pleiner, and I've been a therapist for over 10 years - more than half of that in private practice. I know firsthand what it's like to feel the pressure to have it all together while secretly feeling a little lost and full of questions.
I started the Therapist Social Club and this support group because I believe we deserve better than struggling in isolation. We spend our days holding space for others - we should have people holding space for us too. This group is what I wish I'd had when I was navigating the early years of private practice. A place to be real, get support, and remember we're not alone in this.
